🔒 1.Consent & Conduct Policy
At Dark Flame Society, we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants—including guests, authors, vendors, talent, and attendees—regardless of background or identity. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that compromises the safety or dignity of individuals within our events.
Prohibited Conduct Includes, but is Not Limited To:
- Unwanted or inappropriate physical contact (e.g., touching, grabbing, groping, brushing against someone in a suggestive manner)
- Non-consensual verbal remarks of a sexual, suggestive, or aggressive nature (including jokes, innuendos, or comments about one’s body, appearance, or identity)
- Use of slanderous, discriminatory, or derogatory language, including but not limited to racial slurs, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or xenophobic remarks
- Harassment through persistent or invasive behavior, such as following someone, blocking their path, or cornering them
- Use of threatening, intimidating, or aggressive gestures or body language intended to instill fear, assert dominance, or provoke confrontation
- Engaging in non-consensual roleplay, especially of a violent, sexual, or demeaning nature
- Taking photos, video, or audio recordings without permission, particularly in designated "no recording" zones or after being asked to stop
- Disrespecting or ignoring established boundaries, whether verbal, physical, or implied
- Attempting to coerce, manipulate, or pressure someone into interactions or behaviors they are uncomfortable with
- Engaging in any sexually explicit behavior or public indecency in non-designated areas
- Displaying or wearing offensive symbols, imagery, or messages that promote hate speech, discrimination, or violence
- Substance-induced behavior that results in lack of awareness, boundary violation, or aggression
- Interfering with staff instructions, safety protocols, or the flow of the immersive environment in a way that endangers others or degrades the experience
- Retaliation or mockery of individuals who assert boundaries, use a safe word, or report inappropriate conduct
Enforcement & Reporting:
Any individual found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately removed from the premises without refund and will be barred from attending any future Dark Flame Society events. In serious cases, or upon request of the impacted party, local authorities may be contacted to investigate the matter further.
If you witness or are the victim of any prohibited conduct, we strongly urge you to take immediate action and notify a staff member, security personnel, or designated authority. Prompt reporting allows us to take the proper steps to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all involved.
